Qatari enterprise Innovations Unlimited ME, a renewable energy company, needed exterior lighting for an industrial water reservoir, which on the one hand could deliver the required illumination and on the other hand save electric energy which had been preciously generated by photovoltaics and stored in batteries.

April 2016 - The town of Millstatt am See has commissioned Jakob Zehndorfer to act as official expert on their behalf for the calculation of the reduction of natural daylight regarding the neighborhood of a new building.
Lighting measurement and assessment of advertising boards
March 2016 - Since the responsible authorities were suspecting a glaring hazard for road traffic and neighbors caused by the billboards of newly opened supermarket in Finkenstein (Carinthia, Austria), supermarket chain Spar commissioned Zehndorfer Engineering with the photometric measurement and assessment of the potential glaring hazard according to Austrian norms O1052 and RVS05.06.12.
Solar Glare Assessment of a PV power plant
In February 2016 the community of Gnesau (Carinthia / Austria) ordered a Solar Glare Assessment for a roof-top photovoltaic power plant in construction. During the construction of the plant it turned out, that neighbors were suffering under the reflections of the sun on the PV panels so massively, that the quality of life on their terraces, balconies and even in the inner living quarters was significantly reduced glaring hazard.
Jannuary 2016 - Submission planning for PV power plants for building permits and incentive scheme
From September 2015 to Jannuary 2016 Zehndorfer Engineering has successfully supported Austrian company PVI GmbH with the submission of more than 50 photovoltaic power plants with a total power of 10MWp in the states of Vienna, Upper Austria, Lower Austria, Styria and Burgenland.
