Lighting measurement in the course of a plant licensing permit

Luxmeter

August 2016 - The lighting of work places is regulated according to BS EN 12464-1. A verification according to this norm was required in the context of a plant licensing permit. Due to the (often readily available) rooms are not always sufficiently lighted, it makes sense to execute these measurements, in order to design the work place safe and supporting the quality requirements of the specifc works.

In the framework of this regulation espectially the level of illumination is measured along a grid pattern over all work places. While doing this it is essential to record several environmental variables (pollution of the luminairs, voltage at the luminaire and superimposed daylight). In order to obtain unambiguous results of the lighting installation, your either have to measrue without the influence of daylight, or subtract the illuminance of daylight.
